Computer giant Microsoft India Pvt. Ltd and Maharashtra government have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to mutually co-operate in the education sector. Microsoft will help to adopt ICT in government schools and work toward enhancing skills of workforce in the state.
Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil, Minister for Education, Government of Maharashtra, said, “IT education and access to the latest IT tools and software will go a long way towards giving them a competitive advantage. We look forward to Microsoft’s expertise in this area.”
